Luminous Sea
2018

Bachelor thesis project at Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design.

The idea was to let visitors of an exhibition experience the functionality of bioluminescent processes in the ocean. There are different hypothesises why organisms use the ability to emit light. On the basis of several interactive terminals and informative posters these theories get visualised. This video shows the interaction and design concept for each terminal – in this case displaying the function of the so-called "burglar alarm".
